Review 2012 Renault Koleos

2012 Renault Koleos. A renewed version of Renault Koleos is to be released in late 2011. The chief changes concern the model’s exterior styling and interior trim, plus appreciable CO2 and fuel consumption savings in the case of its diesel engines.

The model reasserts its high-end status by building on the strengths that were widely acclaimed at the time of its launch in 2008, namely its remarkable comfort, versatility and modularity, as well as the speed with which owners are able to familiarise themselves with their new car.

The facelifted Koleos features a revised front fascia with a new chrome grille and slimmer headlights. LED turn indicators have also been added to the side mirrors.

The Koloes will be offered, depending on market, with three engine variants. Two diesels, the dCi 150 and the dCi 175, each feature 150 PS (110 kW / 148 bhp) and 175 PS (129 kW / 173 bhp), respectively. A 170 PS (125 kW / 168 bhp) TR25 petrol engine rounds out the range.

The Koleos is offered as both a 4×4 all-wheel drive or a 4×2 front drive model. CO2 emissions on the 4×2 dCi 150 is 148g/km.

A new color, Cayenne Orange, is also available on the new Koleos (seen in the photos published here).
